Posh™ apples inherit their honey-sweet flavor and delicate texture from the renowned Honeycrisp. By blending in the vibrant Sciros, Posh™ achieves a strikingly bright red skin and a large, classic round shape.
After 15 years of meticulous development, Posh™ also boasts optimized ease of cultivation, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every apple.
AVAILABILITY
Posh™ is a mid to late season variety, harvested in New Zealand between late March and early April and available in select retailers in New Zealand, China, Thailand and Vietnam from June through September.
Posh™ was designed using natural plant-breeding methods by the world-renowned New Zealand Plant & Food Research, commercialised by Prevar. Next Generation Apples (NGA) owns the global licensing rights, a joint venture between generational Nelson based growers Golden Bay Fruit and Taylor Corporation from the Hawkes Bay. Posh™ apples are currently grown exclusively by these two New Zealand growers.
